“This Is Not Time For Concert Party”- Mahama Tells Bawumia
National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has indirectly bashed Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia over the latter’s recent comic gestures displayed in his campaign tours.
Though the former president made no mention of characters within the opposition party, deductions from his lecture unmasked a crystal clear critique against the NPP’s 2024 Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the elephant party.
Speaking at a public lecture on Wednesday at the Christian Service University in Kumasi, Ex President John Mahama said the leadership of Ghana and the office of the President are weighty and must be approached with utmost seriousness.
“This is not the time for comedy. This is not the time for concert party or about passing a mystical steer to somebody”.
John Mahama continued that “there is no space for stale falsehoods and gas lightning. Those trivializing the suffering and pain of Ghanaians and reducing important matters of governance to empty slogans and desperate promises cannot come near the leadership of this country”.
John Mahama mentioned that political characters and parties that are noted for their economic mismanagement and have surged the citizenry into the vortex of despair despite their loafty talk in opposition and who now seek to flee from responsibility cannot be rewarded with the Presidency.
