The Future Of Air Cargo In West Africa Is Bright- Dr McKorley

Group Chairman of the McDan Group of companies, Dr Daniel McKorley has charged stakeholders in the air aviation and cargo space to put their best foots forward together in concerted efforts to overcome challenges facing the sector as the future of the industry is full of limitless opportunities.

According to him, the future of logistics in the West African subregion is not just about the movement of goods but connecting people, trade facilitation, driving economic prosperity, crerating opportunities for business growth, the survival of communities and the full realisation of potential of individuals.

Dr McKorley made these call when he addressed stakeholders at the 4th CHINET Aircargo Conference held in Lagos, Nigeria on August 222, 2024 on the theme: “E-commerce and the Future of Aircargo in Africa”.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, the future of air cargo in West Africa is bright, but it requires concerted efforts to overcome the challenges we face.
As we move forward, let us remember that the future of logistics in West Africa is not just about moving goods from point A to point B. It is about connecting people, enabling trade, and driving economic prosperity. It is about creating opportunities for businesses to grow, for communities to thrive, and for individuals to realize their potential” Dr McKorley said.

McDan as he is popularly known was hopeful that with teamwork, players in the industry can create a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable logistics sector whiles urging his colleague business leaders to embrace innovation and collaboration.

build the future of air cargo in Africa. Together, we can overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and create a logistics landscape that is vibrant, sustainable, and inclusive”.
