Six Youth and Sports Centres To Be completed This Year

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif, has disclosed that six Youth and Sports Centres are nearing completion, with an average rate of 92%.

According to him, these state-of-the-art facilities located in Axim, Dunkwa-on-Offin, Dormaa Ahenkro, Wa, Koforidua, and Ho are scheduled to be officially commissioned this year.

The minister further announced that concurrent efforts are underway to resume work on phase two of the project for the remaining four centers including the centres at Nyinahin, Yendi, Navorongo and the renowned Azumah Nelson Sports Complex situated in Accra.

Mr Mustapha Ussif who is also the Member of Parliament for Yagaba-Kobori disclosed these when he took his turn at the minister’s briefing platform at the Ministry of Information on Wednesday, 26th July, 2023, at Accra.
