Sam George and other ministers-designate to be vetted today..
Hon. Samuel Nartey George, MP for Ningo Prampram and Minister Designate for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations will be vetted today. The other Minister-Designates expected to also be vetted today are:
Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Labour, Jobs, and Employment.
Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Environment, Science, and Technology.
Kofi Iddie Adams, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Sports and Recreation.
The committee will break and resume at 12:30 p.m.
Then Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be vetted.
Followed by Joseph Bukari Nikpe, Minister Designate for the Ministry of Transport after which Issifu Seidu, Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, will appear before the committee at 2:30 p.m.
Lastly, Mrs. Charity Gardiner, Minister Designate for the Ahafo Region, will be vetted at 3:30 p.m.
Tomorrow Friday, January 31, 2025, the following ministers-designate will be vetted:
- Salisu Be-Awuribe Issifu, Esq – Minister Designate for the Savannah Region at 8:00 a.m.
- Wilbert Petty Brentum – Minister Designate for the Western North Region at 9:00 a.m.
- Felix Kwakye Ofosu, MP – Minister of State for Government Communications at 10:00 a.m.
- Joseph Nelson – Minister Designate for the Western Region at 11:00 a.m.
- Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, MP – Minister Designate for the Ministry of Health at 12:00 p.m.
LUNCH BREAK – 1:00 p.m.
- Joseph Addae Akwaboa – Minister Designate for the Bono Region at 1:30 p.m.
- Francis Owusu Antwi – Minister Designate for the Bono East Region at 2:30 p.m.
