Over 5000 Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituents Benefit From Maa Lydia’s Free Driving lessons

Over 5000 individual constituents have benefited from a free driving lessons initiative by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan since its inception in 2020.

Approximately 1,200 driving linceses have also been acquired at the expense of the MP and distributed to beneficiaries free of charge since the inception of the programme in 2020.

The free driving lessons facilitated by LSA Free Driving School, established by the lawmaker who popularly known as Maa Lydia is aimed at equipping beneficiaries with basic skilss and requirement of driving for their personal and business use.

The 5th cohort comprising of over 250 beneficiaries were each presented with their driving licences at the end of the training by Maa Lydia who is currently the Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources.

Previous beneficiaries of the LSA Free Driving School Initiatives includes students from tertiary institutions including the University of Ghana, Accra College of Education, University of Media, Arts and Communication, the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) all within the constituency.

The Ayawaso West Wuogon lawmaker is known for her philantropic gesture over the years where she supported people from all walks of life.
