McDan Foundation Embarks On Nationwide Ramadan Food Distribution Exercise
As a critical component of its corporate social responsibility in an inclusive manner, the Mcdan Group through its charity arm, the McDan Foundation is embarking on a nationwide distribution of food items dubbed, “McDan Foundation’s Operation Ramadan Food Distribution”.
The gesture is in solidarity towards the most needy members of society expecially among the muslim community during this Ramadan period.

Operation Ramadan which is an annual ritual is the most significant humanitarian initiative on the calender of the Foundation since its inception.
It offers comfort to the most vulnerable members of society on the occasion of the holy month of fasting, a month of sharing and show of generosity towards the less privileged.

Executive Director of the McDan Foundation, Kelvin Atuguba who is leading the nationwide distribution of the food items presented the first batch to the Labadi Central Mosque within the La Dadekotopon Municipality of the Greater Accra region.
The food items presented includes bags of rice, bags of sugar, solf drinks among several others.
The Executive Director revealed that the 2024 gesture which comprises varied food items valued at millions of Ghana cedis is being replicated across the sixteen regions of the country before the Eid-al Fitr celebration to mark the end of the 30-days fast.
