Mavis Kabukie Pernarh Wins Miss Asafotu 2024
Ms Mavis Kabukie Pernarh, a student has been crowned Miss Asafotu 2024 after beating off competition from nine others.
For her prize, Miss Pernarh received a brand new saloon car sponsored by Electrochem Ghana Limited, operators of Africa’s largest salt mine.
The second and first runnerup positions went to Kabukwor Aklie and Millicent Kakie Akuaku respectively.
They were each rewarded with cash prizes.
Each of the ladies dazzled the crowd with their electrifying and exceptional performances.
The beauty queens demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding of the rich history, culture and traditions of Ada.
The ten finalists in this year’s contest went through regorous grooming exercise.
Judges for the contest include Mrs Afua Asantewaa Aduinum of Singathon fame, Mrs Grace Dadzie from the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers’ Association and Mr Ebenezer Akuaku who represented the Ada Traditional Council.
