Many Ghanaians Want To See Electrochem Ghana Listed On The Stock Market- GSE MD

Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), Ms Abena Amoah has revealed that, there are a lot of Ghanaians who are interested in seeing Electrochem Ghana Limited listed onto the stock market.

According to her, the company has already appointed advisors who are leading the process of listing onto the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Speaking to the media in Accra on Thursday August 15, 2024, Ms Amoah said the listing of Electrochem provides an opportunity for Ghanaians to look at the propects of the company and decide whether to invest in it or not to help it meet its development agenda.

“The comany that has undertaken list is electrochem, and they have appointed advisors and are working with them to bring electrochem onto the Ghana market, provide and opportunity for all of us to look to their pospectus and decide whether we want to invest in it and help the company meet its development agenda”,Ms Amoah disclosed.

The GSE MD expressed the hope that advisors of the company would quiken their efforts to bring the opportunity to the stock market for Ghanaians to take advantage of.

“I think they have been very bold and spoken about that, so we hope theIR advisors would quicken and bring the opportunity to market. Because, there is a lot of people that are ofcourse, interested to see this” she said,

The listing of Electrochem Ghana, Africa’s largest salt mine and processing plant onto the Ghana Stock Exchange will open the company up to the public to own shares whiles helping it raise the needed capital for its expansion.
