Kevin-Prince Boateng Set To Launch Football Management Career

Former Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng is embarking on a new journey in football management following his retirement from active play.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that the German-born Ghanaian will kickstart his managerial career in 2024 by coaching in the Baller League, an initiative spearheaded by German footballer Mats Hummels, Boateng’s former teammate in the German youth system.

Romano shared the news on social media, stating, “Kevin Prince Boateng, ready for a new chapter after retiring – as he’s expected to start in 2024 as the new team manager in Mats Hummels’ Baller League. His career will turn into a new experience soon.”

Boateng announced his retirement in August 2023. The 15 clubs Boateng represented included Italian giants AC Milan, for whom he starred as they won the 2011 Serie A title.

At international level, Boateng opted to play for Ghana in 2010 having represented Germany at youth level.

He earned 15 caps for the Black Stars, scoring two goals, and played at the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
