I Will Not Protect Your ‘Legacy’ Of Misgovernance- Mahama Replies Akufo-Addo
Former President and Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the December7, 2024 presidential elections, John Dramani Mahama has affirmed his resolve not to protect the ‘legacy’ of President Akufo-Addo if he wins the polls.
According to Mr Mahama, he will not protect Akufo-Addo’s legacy of corruption, misgovernance, arrogance, ineptitude, bankrupt economy, increased unemployment, and on tht has pushed people into the poverty bracket.
President Akufo-Addo on Tuesday, May 7 urged Ghanaians not to vote for the NDC Flagberaer in the upcoming December elections stating that electing the former President would compromise the progress made during his tenure and put the nation’s path at risk.
He was addressing supporters of the party at a mini rally in Doboro in the Greater Accra region, following a visit to Blue Skies Limited.
Reacting to the claim by the president, the former president in an X post writes:
Of course, I will not protect your ‘legacy’ of corruption, misgovernance, arrogance, ineptitude, bankrupt economy, increased unemployment, and pushing more of our people into the poverty bracket.
