I Apologize For Not Informing You B4 Joining Bawumia- Ken Agyapong To Supporters

Assin Central lawmaker, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has rendered an apology to his cherished supporters for not notifying them before appearing on a campaign platform with New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia during his tour of the Ashanti region.

Mr Agyapong who failed to win the NPP flagbearer slot gave the vice preisdent’s presidential campaign a major boost when he joined the Ashanti region campain tour and appeared on the stage with Dr Bawumia on June 11, 2024.

The lawmaker was seen in a viral photo engaging in a hearty conversation with Dr Bawumia during the tour, a development that provoked some of his supporters who called him out on social media.

The Assin Central legislator is on record to have made some unfavourable comments against his own party, the NPP and Dr Bawumia during and after the presidential primaries of the party.

However, in a post on his X handle, Mr Agyapong who acknowledged the pain he caused, apologizes to his follows and emphasisised that he has not resigned from the elecphant family.

“It didn’t go well with some of you, and I want to apologize for not informing you before I went on the campaign tour. But I want all the party faithful to know that I have not resigned from the party, neither am I going independent, and I’m still a member of the NPP,”
