GNTDA To Cloth Miss Asafotu 2024 Contestants
The Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) is partnering the Ada Traditional Council, Electrochem Ghana limited among others for the celebration of the 2024 edition of Asafotufiami of the Chiefs and people of Ada in the Greater Accra region.
As part of the partnership, GNTDA will sponsor the custumes of all ten finalists in the 2024 Miss Asafotu beauty contest.
All finalists in the Miss 2024 Asafotu contest are currently undergoing regorous groming sessions by well-versed industry players including Afua Asatewaa of the World Guiness Record Singathon fame.

The ultimate winner of the Miss 2024 Asafotu is expected to drive home a brand new car.
The tailors and dressmakers disclosed their sponsorship last Friday when their appeared on the Mid-morning show of Eagle 104.9 based at Kasseh.
National President of the association, madam Joana Eshun Mensah said the partnership with the Ada Traditional Council demonstrates her outfit’s belief in tradition, identity with the people of Ada and as is part of the day to day activities of the communities.
Madam Eshun Mensah encouraged the people of Ada to patronise the services of GNTDA for quality services.
The Tema Regional Chairperson of the Ghana National Tailors and , Florence Asantewaa also urged all tailors and dressmakers in the Ada Traditional area to identify with any local zone of the association close to them and register their membership irrespective of their education levels.
According to her, membership of the association comes with several opportunities including trainings and technical support to make them effective in the competitive design environment.
The ten designers who would be clothing the ten beauty peageants from the various zones
include:
Kasseh Zone
Honesty Ankah, Vida Duamour, Mavis Addai, Lord Osabutey and Roselyn Awutey.
Big Ada
Ebenezer Awutey
Ada Foah
Ruth Kanor
Sege Zone
Dorcas Abaya.
The designers from the Anyakpor Zone includes, Felix Asigbey and Esther Mamle Alimo.
Other officials of GNTDA who appeared on the show include, Henry Tetteh Kutor, vice president, Rita Tornu, Treasurer, and Ezekiel Apodei, a Member.
The forty-five year old Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association currently has a population of over 120, 000 members with offices in all sixteen regions across the country.
Membership benefits includes capacity building for members, financial management skills, technical support and the facilitation of contract for members.
