Ghana National Tailors And Dressmakers To Showcase Local Talent At 2024 Miss Asafotu
The Ada branch of the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) is poised to showcase the skills and craftsmanship of local dressmakers and designers as the 2024 Miss Asafotu pageant draws closer.

The association which is the main sponsor of the costumes of all ten finalists in this year’s Miss Asafotu Pageant says it is ready to demonstrate expertise and showcase the beauty of the traditional attire of the Ada’s.
The Miss Asafotu Pageant, which is an annual event held as part of activities marking the Asafotufiami festival, focuses on empowering young women from Ada to learn about and appreciate their cultural heritage.
This year’s event is a collaborative effort between Eagle 104.9 FM and the Ada Traditional Council and ably sponsored by Electrochem Ghana Limited, Ghana’s leading salt producing company of international repute.
The grand finale of the 2024 Miss Asafotu is scheduled for Friday August 2, 2024, at ‘The Point’, popular entertainment spot at Big Ada.
By supporting local talent, the GNTDA hopes to Promote Ada’s rich cultural heritage, showcase the skills of local dressmakers and designers, encourage the use of traditional attire and foster community pride and involvement in the Asafotufiami festival.
The Miss Asafotu Pageant offers a platform for young women to learn about and celebrate their cultural roots, while providing an opportunity for local artisans to demonstrate their craftsmanship.
