Yendi is truly my home. Despite my thousand miles of journey around the world, Yendi always welcomes and embraces me with open arms. So when I heard about the the 10-year Dagbon Strategic Development Plan to complement the development initiatives and priority needs of Dagbon, I knew I had to visit my “father” and
Overlord of Dagbon, Ndan Ya Naa Abukari II to contribute my little.
I have always said that the Gbewa Palace is a national treasure, with significant importance to the cultural heritage of Dagbon, the Dagbon people as well as the country. That’s why I’m proud to be providing additional support for this upliftment to ensure future generations can enjoy and learn from the unique cultural heritage, traditions and customs that Dagbon has to offer.
