Director Of Coms At Melcom Godwin Avenorgbo Passes Away

The Melcom Group of Companies has lost its Director of Communication, Godwin Avenorgbo.

Mr Avenorgbor, a Veteran broadcaster was widely known as ‘Big Godwin’ or the Grandmaster during his working days with the national broadcaster, GBC.

He died on Monday, August 19, 2024, though the cause of death has not been disclosed.

In a brief statement shared on the Facebook page of Ghana Television, where Mr. Avenorgbo had a distinguished career, it was announced, “The ‘Grandmaster’ (Godwin Avenorgbor) bows out. May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
