Bawumia Visits Black Stars Ahead Of CAR Clash In Kumasi

Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has visited the Black Stars in camp ahead of their FIFA World Cup clash with the Wild Beasts of the Central African Republic (CAR) in Kumasi later this evening having beaten Mali by 2: 1 in Bamako on Friday.

The Black Stars currently occupy the third position in Group I of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with six points behind Madagascar and Comoros who have more goals.

Dr Bawumia is in the Ashanti region this week as part of his campaign of the region ahead of Election 2024.
