ASHANTI REGIONAL MINISTER PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO MANHYIA PALACE
The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has paid a courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace, the seat of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
This visit came on the heels of his swearing-in ceremony at the Jubilee House on Thursday 30.
During the visit, which took place on Friday, January 31, 2025, Dr. Amoakohene assured the Asantehene of his unwavering commitment to discharge his mandate with diligence and humility.
He reiterated his dedication to serving the people of the Ashanti Region and pledged to work tirelessly to ensure the region’s growth and development.
The Regional Minister was accompanied by a delegation of high-ranking officials, including the Regional Coordinating Council Chief Director, Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako, the General Officer Commanding Central Command, Brigadier General Michael Opoku, and the Regional Commander, DCOP Mr. Frank Abrokwa, among others.
Upon his return to the Ashanti Region, Dr. Amoakohene expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his unwavering support.
He also assured the Asantehene of his commitment, as well as that of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, to making the Ashanti Region a better place for the people of Asanteman.
The courtesy visit underscores the Regional Minister’s denomination to foster a strong working relationship with the traditional authorities in the region, as he strives to promote the development and well-being of the people of Ashanti.
