Alfred Kotey Ashie Is NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate For Odododiodioo

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has elected Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie as its parliamentary candidate for Odododiodioo constituency.

Mr Kotey polled 1209 votes to beat his rival, Emmanuel Nii Okai Laryea who garnered 952 votes out of the 2161 total votes cast on Sunday.

Over 2100 NDC delegates from the constituency in the Greater Accra Region participated in the election.

The electoral process faced a temporary setback as an injunction was filed by disqualified parliamentary aspirant Michael Nii Yarboi Anan.

However, following the dismissal of Mr. Yarboi Anan’s interlocutory injunction application, the election proceeded smoothly on Sunday.

Alfred Nii Kotey Ashie’s successful candidacy sets the stage for his campaign in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
