Alan Cash Outlines A Six Point Agenda For Transformational Change
The founder of the Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremanten has outlined a six point agenda to propel Ghana’s much needed transformation as leaders of ten political groupings in the country signed a pact under the coalition, Alliance for Revolutionary Change to contest the 2024 presidential election.
According to Mr Kyeremanten, after 67 years of independence, the country is still struggling with its developmental path.
Speaking at the lauch of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change in Accra on Wednesday April 17, 2024, the former Trade and Industry minister identified result oriented leadership that is ready to fight corruption head-on, implementing transformational policies in all sectors of the economy through the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) and placing the private sector at the forefront as the true agents of transformation.
Mr Kyeremanten who is the leader of the Alliance also mentioned the building of a united Ghana in an inclusive manner as one key element to help break the duopoly of the NPP and NDC dominance since the inception of the 4th republic in 1993, putting young people at the forefront and mainstreaming gender in the transformational agenda whiles inspiring a revolutionary change in the attitude of Ghanaians and transforming the mindsets of all.
He indicated that individuals and groups which made up the Alliance agreed to focus on factors that brings progress rather than those that devide.
“In uniting as a group, the members of the Alliance for Revolutionary Change have agreed to prioritize factors that unite us rather than those that divide us. This approach not only makes our Alliance a powerful political force but also ensures its endurance in driving the transformation we, as Ghanaians, aspire to see.” He stated.
Mr Alan Kyeremanten pledged to lead a new political culture that creates opportunity for all and invited all Ghanaians to join the alliance for a new hope and opportunity for all saying “Ghana will rise again”.
Leader of the National Interest Movement (NIM), Dr Abu Sakara Foster said the Alliance is the only alternative left for Ghanaians to restore hope and create opprtunities for all citzens as compared to the duopoly of the NDC and NPP who create opportunity for just a few.
