2 Perish In Road Crash At Duampompo Off Kumasi-Accra Highway

Early Friday morning February 09, 2024 the Konongo-Odumasi Fire Station swiftly responded to a distress call reporting an accident at Ohene-Duampompo, along the Kumasi-Accra highway in Ashanti Region.

The rescue team arrived at the scene at 0909 hours to find a Toyota RAV 4 (DV 5400J/2023), Hyundai Grace (GW 7281-22), and Man Diesel Truck (AS 3714-10) involved in the collision.

The rescue team managed to retrieve 2 victims from the mangled vehicles and assessed the situation and provided assistance, noting significant damage to the vehicles involved which showcased their commitment to serving and protecting the community amidst roadway emergencies.

Unfortunately, the two were found dead amidst the collided vehicles while others were severely injured. Details of this development shall be shared accordingly…
