World Record Marathon Holder Dies In An Accident
The World men’s marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum has lost his life in a car accident in his home country, Kenya.
The 24-year-old had recently broken Eliud Kipchoge’s world record in Chicago. His rapid ascent to the top of the marathon scene began in 2022, when he won his first marathon.
Four years earlier, the athlete had to borrow shoes due to financial constraints. Kiptum represented a new generation of Kenyan athletes who started their careers on the road, departing from the traditional path of beginning on the track before transitioning to longer distances.

Unfortunately, he died with his coach as authorities inform the media about the collision of his destroyed vehicle.
Messages of condolence and sympathy have started trooping in from across the world to the late world champion and his coach.
