Teshie Residents Grateful To McDan For Sports Complex Project

Residents of Teshie and its environs in the Ledzokuku constituency have expressed gratitude to the chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, Dr Daniel McKorley for his humanitarianism and commitment towards the development of sports in the country.

Speaking to EAGLEGHANA.COM ahead of the grand commissioning of the McDan Teshie Sports Complex, the elated residents variously described McDan as a genius, philanthropist, visionary and a gift to humanity who is devoted towards making life better for all.

The Teshie facility is the fourth of such Dr McKorley has constructed within the Greater Accra region.

The other three include the La McDan Park which is currently hosting several national football events, the Shiashie Astro Turf and the McDan Sports Complex at Sege in the Ada East District.

According to them, the Sports facility will go along way to unearthing football talents and promote the game in the area and beyond.

Several exhibition football games are currently ongoing as a prelude to the official openning of the sports complex.

vice president Dr Mahamadu Bawumia is expected to join Dr McKorley and former MP for Ledzokuku, Dr Bernard Okoe Boye who the commissioning of the facility later this afternoon.
