Sanitation Minister Resigns Over Her Million Dollars At Home Scandal

Ghana’s Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah has resigned.

This follows public outrage that has greeted news of her keeping a million dollar, thousands of euros and millions of Ghana cedis at home leading to the alleged theft of the monies by her house helps.

The resignation was contained in a letter issued and signed by the Minister on July 22, 2023.
