QNET VCON Media Webinar: Seasoned Ghanaian Journalists Share Their QNET Experiences And Trip To Malaysia In 2022 and 2023

Wellness and Lifestyle focused leading global e-commerce-based direct-selling company QNET says the adoption of technology-driven research and compliance with ethical and legal standards of host communities are at the forefront of its operations across over 25 countries globally.

The company reiterated its continous collaboration with the securities agencies and the media in Ghana to help curb activities of scammers and ensure compliance with ethics and legal standards which the company striticly upholds as a necessity for the sector.

QNET also embarks on regularly public education aimed at sensitising the public on how direct selling e-commerce works and its impact in society.

The sub-Saharan Africa Regional General Manager for QNET, Mr Biram Fall disclosed these during a webinar on Friday December 1, 2023 for selected journalists in Ghana as part of its continuous engagment with the media to ensure the dissemination of credible information to help address misconceptions about the QNET brand in Ghana.

He provided key information about the brand’s efforts in Ghana in the fight against scams, deepened stakeholder relations, and collaboration, especially with governmental agencies as well as its social responsibility activities and impacts.

According to him, the 25-year old company has impacted millions of lives through its array of life enhancing products in the areas of health, wellness, lifestyle and education and indicated the brand’s commitment towards empowering individuals to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives through the use of its products and impactful coporate social responsibility (CSR) activities.

The company also partners and sponsors renowned sporting clubs, including Manchester Citiy and the CAF African Club League championship.

QNET’s products include personal care and beauty products, health, education, technology, watches and jewellery, home and living, and offer memorable holiday experiences, among others.

As part of its 25th anniversary celebration, the company sponsored three seasoned Ghanaian journalists from Ghana to its annual global conference, VCON, in Malaysia. Earlier in 2022, two Ghanaian journalists were sponsored for the same trip to Malaysia to see, feel, and experience QNET for what it truly is. To date, a total of five Ghanaian journalists have travelled to the QNET office in Malaysia, interacted with top leadership of the company including its CEO and management and product experts, who helped answer nagging questions on the minds of these journalists.

These journalists also attended the QNET’s VCON Malysia, a global conference of about 20, 000 patrons. This year, the VCON coincided with the 25th anniversary celebration of the company. These journalists from reputable media houses shared their practical experiences about the impactful works of the company.

They shared their experiences in areas, including demystifying misconceptions about QNET’s true
existence, QNET’s legacy in the direct selling industry and insight into QNET products, the amazing science behind the company’s products, life, and culture in Malaysia.

Mr. Fall, in his closing remarks, spoke about: QNET in Ghana: Today and the Future and QNET’s public education campaign and fight against scam and misrepresentation.

In Ghana, QNET through its CSR arm, RYTHM Foundation is impacting lives through education, health and support to people living with disability, depirved communities, opharnages, sponsored young people in sports to Manchester City among others. Some of these CSR activitiess include FINGREEN, a financial literacy programme, ANOPA project that involves the training of deaf and blind school children in several sporting discipline, and donations to the needy instituions and key government institutions.

In future, QNET aims to embark on broader pubic education campaigns on the brand, step up its CSR activities, including tree planting as part of its green initiative, and enhance its fight against scam.
