Promising Ghanaian Footballer Dies In Germany

Another sad news has hit the Ghanaian sports arena as 25-year-old Ghanaian former Regensburg striker, Agyemang Diawusie is reportedly dead.

The German-born Ghanaian died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in Germany with the cause of his death currently unknown.

Agyemang Diawusie played for Germany youth side, making some caps for the country’s U19s, but was never capped at Senior level.

He is a player of Jahn Regensburg, a second tier team in Germany.

After the sad news hit the sports world, his club Jahn Regensburg expressed their deepest sympathy to the family.

“The Jahn family mourns with the bereaved and our thoughts are with Agyemang’s family, relatives, close friends and companions. Due to the terrible situation and out of respect for his family, we ask that their privacy be respected”, Jahn Regensburg announced.

Diawusie last appearance for the club was on November 4 in a game against 1860 Munich.
