NDC Makes Major Appointments To Key Positions Of The Party
As the country prepares for the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections, Ghana’s largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the appointments of certain individuals who have distinguished themselves over the years to key positions.
The appointments were announced in a press release dated August 24, 2023 and signed by the party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.
According to the party, the new appointments were approved during the NDC’s National Executive Committee meeting held on Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Former Vice Chancellor of the University for Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), Professor Joshua Alabi, Dr. Samuel Sarpong and Abdul Rauf Khalid have been appointed as now part of the Party’s Vice Chairmen.
Former Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah is now the NDC’s Director of Elections/IT while Lawyer Godwin Kudzo Tameklo is the party’s Director of Legal Affairs.
Former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC, Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor also heads the inter-party/CSO Relations of the party.
