Mother Of Tamale North MP Alhssan Suhuyini Is Dead

The Member of Parliament for the Tamale North constituency, Alhassan Sayibu Suhuyini, Hajia Zenabu Sayibi has passed.

A statement issued by the Tamale Regional Secretariat of the NDC said she died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

She has since been buried in accordance with the Muslim tradition.

It’s with a heavy heart that we on behalf of the Sayibu Suhiyini family bring to the entire NDC family and the general public the SAD news of the passing to glory of HAJIA ZENABU SAYIBU the mother of Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Sayibu Suhiyini, MP for Tamale North Constituency. Our mother’s sad event happened at Tamale Teaching Hospital earlier today, 25th of July, 2023 where she was receiving treatment after a short illness.

The family has scheduled burial to take place at the Kpalsi Public Cemetery, @ about 3:30 pm.

All mourners, relatives, friends and party faithfuls are encouraged to assemble at the Tamale Teaching Hospital at 3:00pm to support with the burial processes.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later after the burial in accordance with Islamic tradition.
