Mahama Donates Big To Shai Osudoku Hospital On His 65th Birthday
Former President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama alongside his family and friends has presented medical equipment and other items to the Shai Osudoku District Hospital in the Greater Accra Region to mark his 65th birthday celebrations.

The massive donation took place on November 29,2023 which is the day the statesman was born and was with the support of his close family and Friends.
Speaking at the colourful and brief ceremony, H.E John Mahama said he was happy to see the first district hospital of excellence he commissioned alongside 5 others in 2016 were doing very well and helping to cater for the health needs in the district and beyond.

” I am very elated to be back here at the Shai Osudoku district hospital which I was privileged to open in 2016 alongside 5 others in various districts as part of a special government policy to bring healthcare closer to the people in some underprivileged communities and it gives me great joy to give back to my favourite hospital in conjunction with my family and friends as I turn 65 years today “.
Also, among the equipment donated include 2 modern incubators,2 photo therapy machines , 4 Continuous Positive Airways Pressure machines to boost the clinical operations of the hospital in dispensing excellent healthcare services to potential and regular clients.
The Ex President together with Former First Lady , Lordina Mahama added both food and non food consumables to the patients and staff of the hospital including a hot birthday meal for the occasion.

There was also donation of school bags, exercise books,pencils and crayons to the children to help with their academic activities once they resume school at a later date.
Prominent amongst the dignitaries at the event, were the wife of H.E Mahama , his children , his aides ( Obuobia Opoku Darko , Joyce Bawa Mogtari and former Communications Minister ,Edward Omane Boamah).
The Management of the Hospital were very elated about the enormous donation and thanked the Former First Family for their continued support to the facility.
