Let’s Make ‘Medo Wiase’ Win The Highlife Song Of The Year– Nero X To Fans

Ghanaian musician, Nero X has expressed his wish for his latest banger, ‘Medo Wiase’ to win The ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ at the 2024 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with the help of his fans.

Before making the statement in question, he spoke about having to take a break for some time and how Covid-19 coupled with the lockdown limited him.

“Down the lane, in 2019/20, I took a break for myself. There was also CoronaVirus with the lockdown and stuff. I couldn’t make a lot of media appearances at the time. After that, in 2021/22, I came to Ghana and I was dropping hits,” he stated.

Making an appearance at the Onua Weekend Party hosted by DJ Willie, the singer-songwriter made a comparison between his past days and how he has evolved over time to his current self. He also talks of his new banger, ‘Medo Wiase’.

“Back then, it was more like I was texting waters but this time around, I’m fully back and doing actively. I am a highlife artiste and this time around, I chose to do a love song on a highlife tune. This song has Tinny on it. This is a major single I have done that has featured a top artiste and a legend like Tinny. The song is titled, ‘Medo Wiase’. It’s on all digital platforms and I’ll release the video very soon,” he informed listeners.

Sharing his final words during the interview, Nero X called on his fans to try and get his song with Tinny to win ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ at the VGMA.

“Let’s make sure that this song will get the ‘Highlife Song of the Year’ award in the coming year,” he concluded.
