Joycelyn Tetteh Supports Over 800 Students Through Her ‘Going To School With Joy’ Initiative
The third edition of Going To School With Joy, an educational support intitiative by the Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Dayi constituency in the Volta region, Joycelyn Tetteh has offered logistical assistance to over 800 Students from the area.

The beneficiaries who are mostly first year students from the constituency going to various second cycle institutions including Senior High, Technical and Vocational schools across the country received various items including mattresses, Chop boxes, School bags and Sanitary pads for the girl-child to keep them clean, confident and healthy on campus.

Other items received by the stidents are exercise books, Provisions including gari sugar , sardine, milk and so on and undisclosed amount of cash to some day students.

Addresing parents and the beneficiary students during the presentation, Hon Joycelyn encoureaged the students to commit themselves to extensive reading, be focus in class and be punctual at all times in order to make their parents, her office and the North Dayi Constituency proud.
The North Dayi lawmaker called on parents and guardians to be supportive to their kids in school and show more interest in their future rather than focusing on amasing properties for themselves that would not make any valuable impacts on the children in future.

She reiterated her commitment to serving the good people of North Dayi Constituency and Ghana at large.
According to her, the decision to hugely invest her resources into the Going To School With Joy initiative was mainly due to the motivation to help lighten the burden of parents whose kids are going to school during this current harsh socioeconomic period of Ghana.

Both parents and their children ( students) coul not hide their joy and showed appreciations to Hon Joycelyn Tetteh for coming to their aid in this troubling moments as they chant ” God bless Hon. Joycelyn: Joycelyn ” yidziiiiii” ( to wit, continue…

The MP through the “Going To School With Joy” has been providing support to students annually in her quest to cushion parents in a collective move to improve education delovery in the area.
