John Kumah To Be Buried May 18

The remains of the deceased Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti region, John Ampontuah Kumah will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.

His final funeral rites will take place on Sunday, May 19th, 2024.

Lawyer John Kumah as he was affectionately known passed away March 7, 2024 after a short illness, leaving behind a wife and six children.

The late Deputy Finance Minister affectely called Lawyer John Kumah by his constituents was widely regarded as a man of integrity with a keen focus on job creation.

He was a beacon of hope for both the young and old in his community.

His burial date was announced during the observation of a one-week since his demise in accordance with Akan tradition held in Ejisu on Thursday March 28, 2024.

The one week observance was attended by several dignitaries including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiaa, ministers of state, Members of Parliament, NPP faithfuls, constutuents and sympathisers from all walks of life donned red and black attire as a sign of their sorrow and grief.
