Israel’s War On Gaza Poses Regional Threat, Says Qatar’s PM

During his visit to the US, the Qatari prime minister spoke about his country’s role in mediating a potential deal between Israel and Hamas.

“I think that we should all unite behind stopping this war, saving those lives, saving those children and those women from being killed and being chased and bombed by airstrikes, by tanks, by everything,” Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani told NPR in an interview.

He added that he was not sure when a deal would come, saying: “It all depends on both parties.”

He also warned that if the war doesn’t end soon, the risks of a greater regional conflict will grow.
