CCTV Footage Led Rearrest Of Cronic Armed Robber In Accra

A cronic armed robber, Francis Tekpo has been rearrested by the Ghana police just after completing a jail term recently.

The suspect who was convicted on similar offence and upon his release from prison, has once again been arrested for the same crime.

CCTV footage at the residence of one Alhadji Seidu Nasigri Esq, the Board Chairman for the Zongo Development Fund and also the Legal Advisor for the National Chief Imam revealed how close the suspect came into killing his entire family.

The suspect entered the premises at 2:09am and used a ladder to climb into the first floor of the house while entering Alhadji’s room for 3 times, but fortunately for the wife, she was fast asleep..
He also entered the room where his children laid and stole their phone, and later stole other items in his car that was parked in the compound.

The police are preparing dockets for the prosecution of the suspect at the law court.
