One Dead, 3 Injured As Speeding Truck Runs Over Xmas Shoppers

One person is reported dead with three others sustaining various degrees of injuries on Thursday afternoon when a KIA truck ran into hawkers and Christmas shoppers at the Cocoa Marketing Board (CMB) market at the Central Business District, Accra.

The deceased whose head was smashed with intestines gushing outhas has been identified as one of the regular hawkers in the area.

The three injured persons were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Police personnel from the Accra regional command arrived at the scene to gather preliminary information on the actual cause of the accident.
