Breaking News: Deputy Finance Minister John Kumah Is Reported Dead

A deputy minister for Finance, Dr John Ampontuah Kumah is reported dead after a short illness.

Mr Kumah, untill his death was the Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti region and was seen last Tuesday in Parliament.

He was 45.

The deceased was entrepreneur, a preacher and a lawyer.

He served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) until his election as Member of Parliament in December 2020.

Born in 1978, 42 years old, John Ampontuah Kumah, popularly called Lawyer John Kumah, in Ejisu, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, was commonly described by his constituents as a man of integrity with a focus on job creation and inspires hope for the future in both young and old.
