McDan To Commission 4th Astroturf Project Today At Teshie
In his quest to promote the development of sports in every community within the Greater Accra region and the country as a whole, Group Chairman of the McDan Group of Companies, Daniel McKorley will today September 30, commission his fourth astroturf project, the McDan Teshie Sport Complex in Accra.

Other projects include the La McDan Park, the Shiashe Astroturf and the McDan Sports Complex at Sege-Ada.
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to perform the official commissioning together with Dr McKorley and Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Dr Bernard Okoe Boye.
The official opening of the facility is being heralded by a four team Gala competition among Tema 11, Ada 11, Osu and Teshie 11.

Tema Eleven would clash with Ada Eleven whiles Osu Eleven lock horns with Teshie Eleven.
Winners of both clashes will meet at the finals of the gala tournament.
There would also be special tournament between La Ladies 11 verses Teshie Ladies 11.

The main game of the day before the grand opening of the facility @ 5:00pm today by the Vice President would be the match between former Captain of the Black Stars, Stephen Appiah 11 verses Okoe Boye 11.
Some former and current members of the Ghana Black Stars are expected to feature in the game.
The McDan Teshie Sports Complex was constructed by Wembley Sorts Construction.
