Asantehene Otumfuo Osei- Tutu Becomes First Black Monarch To Feature In The World Renowned Pirelli Calendar For 2024

Ghanaian Monarch and globally revered King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has become the first black Monarch to appear in the 2024 edition of renowned calendar ( Pirelli) in the 59 year history of the publication.

The development comes on the back of the growing respect the OverLord of the Ashanti Kingdom has continually received over the world due to his human oriented and transformational leadership espoused by him since ascending the Golden Stool in 1999 after the death of his maternal uncle ,Otumfuo Opoku Ware.

The Pirelli calendar is a prestigious publication owned by a renowned British publishing house which is a not for sale business trade calendar that is reserved for well respected businessmen and personalities across the globe with over 20,000 copies in circulation annually.

As part of the landmark achievement ,the grandson of the Asantehene ,Prince Gyasi has also been recruited as the first black photographer for the calendar since its inception in 1964.

This double achievement of the Asante Kingdom and its people will be climaxed and released in 2024 to celebrate the silver jubilee of the King.
