Some past similarities:
The NCP of Arkaah broke off from the NDC in 1996 and yet the NDC won the 1996 presidential elections.
The UGM of Wereko Brobbey broke off from the NPP in 2000 and yet the NPP won the 2000 presidential elections.
The DFP of Obed Asamoah broke off from the NDC ahead of the 2008 elections and yet the NDC won the presidential elections.
The NDP of Nana Konadu broke off from the NDC in the 2012 elections and yet the NDC won the 2012 presidential elections.
In Nigeria the NNPP of Kwankwanso broke off from the APC and yet Tinubu won the presidential elections. Interestingly, Buhari was a minister under the presidency of Buhari but broke off to form his own political party.
Followers of the NPP are resolute in their believe that. nothing will stop the 2024 one touch presidential victory of Ken Ohene Agyepong, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Francis Addai Nimo or Dr Akoto Afriyie.
