Adelaide Ntim Adjudged The Best Female MP For 2023

A survey conducted by FAKS Investigative Services into the performance of leading state actors including ministers, deputy ministers, regional ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs)and Chief Eexecutive Officers of public enterprises in the country has adjudged the Member of Parliament for Nsuta/Kwaman Beposo in the Ashanti region, Adelaide Ntim as the most outstanding female lamaker for the year 2023.

The MP was recognised among the 40 female lawmakers in Ghana’s parliament for her stellar performance in the year under review for her commitment and dedication towards inproving the living standards of her constituents through various interventions.

A team of fact finding officers from FAKs Investigative Services visited various constituencies across the country to asses the development intitiatives by lawmakers as part of the assesment critieria found the Nsuta Kwaman Beposo MP as the best performed for the year.

The team as part of the assesment criteria aso interviewed journalists and constituents about the performamce of MPs both in parliament and at the constituency levels.

The assessment involved projects executed by the various ministries, agencies and the Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) with the participation of the public who shared their opinions concerning the assessment of these officials.

The report also assesed Members of Parliament on development initiatives of the lawmakers within their various constituencies, their parliamentary works as well as responses from constituents.

The fact finding report which took place between the months of October and December, 2023 was done through the deployment of a team of fact finders tp the various constituencies is the 12th Edition of FAKS’s Performance of Ministers project.

Developmental Intiatives of Hon Adelaide Ntim

The Nsuta Kwaman Beposo MP has executued numerous projects and initiatives across all sectors including youth and women empowerment, education, health, sanitation, road, which are positively impacting the lives of her constituents and beyond.

Some of these are the provision of hospital beds and matresses to health facilities, the donation of building materials such as cement for the construction of schools, culvert and markets among others.

The MP support the youth with apprenticeship training and tricycles to aid themselves.

The lawmaker has also resurfaced and gravelled many unmortorable roads connecting several communities using her own resources.

She also donated jerseys and educational materials to schools, schools pu[ils and students to enhance education delivery in the Nsuta Kwaman Beposo area.

In her quest to help improve the sanitation in the area, Hon Adelaide Ntim used her own funds to pull down over five decades dumping sites which have become a source of diseases affecting residents in many communities within the constituency.

As a demonstration of her commitment for the NPP to break the eight in the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections, Hon Adelaide Ntim donanted hundreds of motorbikes to the constituency to facilitate the party’s campaign in the area.

Hon Adeliade Ntim who is a member of the Foreign Affairs and the Government Assurances committees of parliament co- won the best female MP for the year together with MP for North Dayi, Joycelyn Tetteh for their good deeds in 2023.

Other MPs won include MP for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, MP for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as the overal Best MPs among others.
