Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Supports First Year Free SHS Students

Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan our has donated various items including mattresses, chop boxes, trunks and provisions to first year free SHS students in schools within the constituency.

The lawamker made the donation through aspiring Assembly members and unit committee aspirants in the various electoral areas of the constituency.

Hon Lydia Seyram Alhassan who is the first deputy Majority Whip of Parliament made the gesture despite government’s free SHS policy to further provide cushioning for parents as they incure some level of cost in facilitating their wards to school.

Addressing the various aspirants through which she made the donation to the students, Maa Lydia as she is affectinately called by her constituents encourages them to remain focus on the campaign and show compassion to residents within their jurisdictions at all times.

The Aspirants expressed gratitude to the MP and assured that the items will reach the beneficiaries who are going to SHS for the first time.
