The Return Of Legendary Music Producer & Sound Engineer , Hammer

Legendary Ghanaian Music producer and sounding Engineer , Edward Nana Poku Osei ( Hammer) of the Last 2 Entertainment fame has announced his comeback to the entertainment industry in the country.

The legend announced his return of social media platforms after an almost 10 year hiatus.

Speaking in an Instagram Live session , Hammer indicated that he was relieving himself as the Managing Partner and Head of Sales & Marketing at A1 Limited, producers of the ever popular A1 bread and doing a musical return by publishing his latest musical project in the coming weeks.

” After an almost 10 years break from the mainstream music industry for some other fields of endeavour , I am pleased to announce that I am taking a break from my day to day job as Managing partner of A1 Limited of which I remain a shareholder, to get my hands dirty with my first love (music) which has always been part of my legacy in my professional career , I have a project i am putting finishing touches to and will subsequently release to the amazement of all my followers and fans in and outside Ghana”.

Also, Edward Osei added that he was really happy to be able to try his hands on other business interests outside of his musical sojourn which has helped him to get a better grasp of the business side of music as he plots a comeback to the entertainment field.

” I never forgot about my musical talents and instincts during my break from the industry, i am very happy to try my hands in a different field like mainstream business which involves a lot of planning and strategy daily to meet key performance targets and make cash to pay salaries and get cashflow to keep the organization running.

I love the challenge of that business and I have got some critical experience to help me in doing the commercial side of the music industry as I make a long awaited comeback to my first love ( music)”.

Edward Poku Osei is a world renowned sound engineer and music producer with over 2 decades of experience in the music industry.

The Legendary producer has churned out a lot of musical hits and and grooming great talents over the years.

The list includes  Obrafour ,Sarkodie ,Tinny,Lord Kenya, Edem, ,Okumfuor Kwadee,Kwaw Kese amongst others.

He gained popular acclaim with his seminal work on Obrafour’s hit album ( Pae Mu  Ka) in 1999 at the tender age of 22 .
