GFA Holds 29th Ordinary Congress

The 29th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is currently underway at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology in Kumasi.

Agenda for the 29th ordinary session of Congress include, Presentation by the Ghana Premier League Limited Implementation Committee, approval of the GFA Elections Nomination Fees, Presentation of the consolidated and revised balance sheet and profit and loss statement by auditors, approval of the Financial statements of the previous financial period and approval of the work programme and budget for the coming year, amongst others.

This year’s Congress will be attended by the Minister of Youth & Sports Hon. Mustapha Ussif and other distinguished personalities in the Ashanti Region.

The Sports Minister is expected to speak to issues that bother on the development of the game, government’s continues support for football and plans collaborate with the Ghana Football Association and other stakeholders to grow football in Ghana.

The 29th Ordinary session of Congress shall commence at 9:00 o’clock in the forenoon.
