Snoop Dogg’s 24-Year-Old Daughter Suffered ‘Severe Stroke’
Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus, 24, has revealed she suffered a stroke. I had a severe stroke this am,’ she posted to her Instagram Stories on Thursday morning. ‘I started breaking down crying when they told me.’
She followed it up with a photo of her, clad in a pink hoodie with a surgical mask over her face.
‘Like I’m only 24 what did I do in my past to deserve all of this,’ she added.
DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Snoop for comment.
Cori, who is the daughter of Snoop and his wife Shante Broadus, has also suffered from lupus. She was diagnosed with the autoimmune disorder when she was just six.
Speaking with People about her lupus battle in September, she said she had been ‘better than I’ve ever been’ after taking a more natural approach to her well-being.
‘I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been,’ she told People.
‘I stopped taking all of my medication like five months ago,’ she said. ‘I’m just doing everything natural, all types of herbs, sea moss, teas. I started working out, drinking lots of water. So now I think my body’s like, okay, this is the new program and she’s getting used to it.’
Cori said she was compelled to make the change after years following the same routine following her lupus diagnosis.
Cori explained how her medication routine would cause her to ‘feel like I was going insane.’
‘I’ve had medication since I was 6 years old, depending on these drugs all my life. So I wanted better for myself,’ she explained. ‘I wanted to change because it just became a lot. I’m only 24 years old, taking 10 to 12 pills every single day. So I kind of just went cold Turkey.’
My body is not achy,’ she said. ‘When you have lupus, that’s one of the number one things. You have achy joints, you have arthritis. And now I’m like, damn, I’m not complaining about my knees, my feet, my hands, my back.’
In 2021 Cori opened up about her private mental health struggles and revealed she had recently attempted suicide.
The last few weeks my mental has not been so great. At one point I tried to end my life but you & my family really give me a purpose to live & helped me realize life is much more than materialistic things & you gotta just keep pushing through the bulls**t,’ Cori wrote on Instagram.
