Asantewaa In A Comfortable Lead To Breaking The Guinness World Record

The Ghanaian Sing-a-thon empress, Asantewaa has captivated the entire country in her contest to break the record for longest singing individual in human history under the supervision of Guinness.

So far, she has sung a combined hour strength of 86 hours of pure Ghanaian content. Also, many bands are sponsoring this historic feat, included are Bel beverages Dano milk, Onga Ghana etc who are sharing their products for free.

In addition to that, nervous Ghanaian celebrities have made it to the venue to extend their support and love towards her. Notable among them are the Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, musical sensation Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, LilWin, etc.

But in her corner are at least 5 people to aid her in this journey. One is a DJ, two are keeping the time, and another two are lawyers serving as witnesses to the integrity of the challenge.

There’s one other person whose job is to load the lyrics of all the songs you’re singing onto the teleprompter.

Right in front of us is a solid glass wall through which hundreds of fans offer their support.

The glass wall is fully soundproof as well. The people in the box are required to be as quiet as mice because the Guinness World Record wants to hear only her voice when they review the evidence.

The entire country is solidly behind her in this endeavour and we wish her all the best.
